Bluefin on Main Street Downtown s hosting a Halloween costume party on Tuesday, Halloween Night, with music provided by DJ Irie, special cocktail specials and the usual outstanding sushi and "edge cuisine." The party starts at 7 and goes all night. Cover charge is $5, but ladies in costume get in free.


Memphis Industrial Goth Project, the crew behind the Wednesday Goth night at Full Moon Club among other events, is hosting "The Nightmare Before Halloween," a costume party Saturday night at Liquid Lounge on Highland.

Nightshade Manor, located at 1301 Heistan Place just off Bellevue, offers spooky tours through film-quality sets with high-tech special effects. Its website promises “a high-startle, low-gore haunted experience.” The house is open for tours every Friday through Sunday night through the end of the month, and it’s also open on Halloween night. Admission is $10 with two cans of food or $12 without. A portion of proceeds benefit the Memphis Food Bank.
